Hanging Around for you Valentine!

Hanging Around for You Valentine!!!

Hoping you enjoy the following fast and easy  Valentine tutorial.

Using the above supplies I placed the Valentine box lid onto the chalkboard using self adhesive dots.  I used hot glue to secure greenery to the bottom tip of the Valentine box lid.
Again, using the dots I placed the bow at the bottom of the Valentine box.
I then clamped the vintage wooden pant hanger
at the top of the chalkboard.

The pant hanger can be found at local thrift stores or online.  The chalkboard is vintage,
however you can easily find the same look at you
local dollar stores.  This darling buffalo plaid
Valentine Chocolate Box was purchased at
The Dollar General store for $3.
So many different themed boxed Valentines  to choose from, they can be found just about everywhere.

The best part of creating this project is eating
the chocolate, of course!!!

Valentine Heart Pockets "Wall Display"

Valentine Heart Pocket!
"Wall Display"

(1) White Sheet Foam Board
(24) 6 X 6 Felt Hearts
Valentine Ribbon
Tim Holtz Distress Ink
Quickie Glue Pen
Glue Gun and Glue Sticks
Vintage or New Valentine Cards

Draw and cut a 20 X 28 inch heart from foam board.

Distress around edges of felt hearts using Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  Doing the same around the Valentines, if so desired.

I also used pinking shears to add a fancier
edge as well as using the distress ink.

Starting at the top and alternating colors, layer felt hearts around poster board to the bottom.

Once felt hearts are positioned on both sides carefully lift edge of each heart to spot glue backside sides to foam board.

Glue the side top edges of each heart to the heart above.  A small dot of glue will work.

Keeping in mind you will want to leave room to form the pocket.

And of course, I added Glitter to each of the Valentines.

I found so many of the Valentines you see here @graphicsfairy .

Best Wishes,

Good Grief Girdie!!!!!!

Good Grief Girdie, where are YOU?
If you all are missing Girdie / Jackie rest assured she is missing you as well. Jackie is having some technical problems.  It has been over three weeks since we have heard from her.

During that time she has taken a much deserved vacation with her husband Tom and is spending some time outdoors planting flowers
She is busy in her studio and I have been clued in on some of the fun creative ideas that she is working on.  You all are going to love what she has in mind for upcoming classes.
Hopefully Girdie will be up and running again soon!!
